Yes, it HAS been a long time between blogs.  Sorry 'bout that.  I make no promises or predictions however.  For now I am back to beading and here is what is on my beading table right now.

These are tubular herringbone, aka ndebele, ropes that i am beading for a necklace.  One of the lampwork beads in the picture will hang from the ropes.  There will be three ropes when I am finished.  The picutre shows four of the six half ropes.  The beads are 15 and 11 seed beads and 3mm magatamas.  The design is from a tutorial by Helena Manek at  Her web site

The ropes are three different designs with the same beads.  I haven't decided which lampwork bead I will use.  I have been looking for a beading design to use with lampwork beads and this one caught my eye.  I like the way she attaches the focal bead to the ropes.  It is unusual and interesting.

Hope to keep you posted.
