Yes, I know. I promised myself I would keep up my blog and keep up with the Year of Jewelry.  Well, it's a new year and another chance for both.  Here is my first week for YOJ 2008 and my first entry to my blog for 2008. Good start, right? Well, at least it is a start.  I finished the crocheted bead rope last year and I didn't know what to do with it so it sat.  This week I decided what to do with it.  I make the focal beads and the copper spirals and wired it all together.  I like it.

Now the photography is a problem.  The "goldstone" sparkles don't show in the focal beads.  Got to work on my photography.  My tripod lost a crucial piece and is not functional so the picture is not sharp either.  Sigh!
