I am having trouble with the piece I started for this week so I am recycling another piece I did a couple of months ago. It fits the theme better anyway. Ripples. The crocheted rope is made of three colors of size 8 seed beads. I made the lampworked focal beads and bead caps from Effretre soft glass; ivory, black and medium amethyst.  I fashioned the links and clasp from 16 gauge sterling wire and there are black size 6 seed beads and small silver spacers at the bead ends.




The clasps allow the wearer to hook and unhook them from the front which I find is a blessing.  The bead rope feels so comfortable on the back of my neck.  And, my hair won't get caught in it.
